I didn't post much of nuthin on 9-11.
I did however remember the day.
My personal story is that I had become quite the news junkie because of the whole 2000 election screwup. So I happen to turn on the news that morning at just about 9:20 right after the first plane had hit. I was thinking to myself "jeez not again". I remembered the plane that hit the empire state building way earlier in the century. just as this passed my mind, I in real time saw the second plane hit and thought "Ah, Crap here we go..." that was about it. It was a normal work day after that, except I was glued to the Radio-TV for the next couple of days.



I wanted to post this just to show you can go way back to predict the future. If we don't learn from the past... well you know the rest. But maybe ya aint seen this little cartoon just to remind ya what is America (It's scary how relevant it is today when it should be anacronistic.), and especially after 9-11 I agree with this title.

They kept breaking all the Plastic Chinese made ones I bought, so I Made some good old fashioned wooden ones. Man I feel all Santa Like. They gotta learn to PREPARE somewhere eh? Comments welcome!

Just for those who dont get the reference...

well I been kinda following this whole stink about the ABC mini-series "the path to 9/11". I am not happy about all the squawking going on about "unfair protrayels". the dang thing is a DOCU-DRAMA. heres the definition of that: "a fictionalized drama based primarily on actual events." (emphasis mine.). the uh, first amendment that only seems to apply to one side of the aisle sound familiar to anyone? I mean I dont remember the current administration, crying like babies, and calling for licenses to be pulled when a little movie called "farenheight 9/11" came out, do you?
I did some more research and found that one of my favorite actors William Sadler is in the mini-series(and being a fan of Bill's (not Clinton but William Sadler) I like what he had to say about it.

"As you've no doubt heard this show is being attacked by just about everyone who had anything to do with the actual events we tried to portray. Bill Clinton, Sandy Burger, Madelyn Albright, Richard Clark, and five members of the 9/11 Commission, have all come forward to say that some scenes in this mini-series got the story wrong. I think even the former White House pet, Socks the cat, is pissed off at us and is threatening never to use her litter box again if ABC doesn't pull the show.

First of all let me say that I haven't seen the final cut of this show so I can only talk about what was on the pages of the script and what I saw and felt during the ten weeks I spent filming. As you guys know I worked to get Clinton elected (both times) and was a great supporter of his administration, their policies and what they tried to do. So you can imagine my dismay when I saw that all of these people whom I respect and admire so much were upset with "Path To 9/11". I'm not only a fan of that administration I've done a fair amount of research on all this. I've read the "9/11 Commission Report". I've also read Richard Clark's book "Against All Enemies" in which he lays out in great detail what the Clinton White House did and tried to do to avert terrorist attacks, which they did, and nail Osama Bin Laden, which they didn't. What I saw as we filmed this show was a group of people who understood the gravity of these events and who took this work very seriously. There was a constant and sincere effort to be truthful and respect the lives of the people we were portraying and the stories we were telling. So if we got some part of this wrong, as it appears we may have, (like I said I haven't seen the finished version and a lot can happen in the editing room) I'd like to see the offending scenes corrected or cut. I think I speak for everyone on that set when I say we felt we were telling the most important story of our lifetime and we treated it that way. It's not a Democratic story and it's not a Republican story and it never will be. We didn't set out to do a hatchet job on anyone as we've been accused of doing. We set out to tell a complicated and important story as truthfully as we could.
I have a feeling some of the folks who are yelling the loudest haven't watched all five hours of this show which will air Sunday and Monday nights. I would suggest we leave the politics out of it and take a look. Then let's talk."

I agree! (other than the bit about voting and supporting clinton,That part I dont agree with.)
